Mitchell, Railey named 1st Team M3 All Star, Figuroa 2nd

TAMPA, Florida – With the completion of the fourth season of Major Arena Soccer League 3 – greatly expanded this year with last summer's unification with the Premier Arena Soccer League – league officials have announced First and Second Team All Star selections in advance of this weekend's six-team playoff.

Five field players and one goalkeeper were picked by league leaders in consultation with select teams and representatives from the six divisions. Following are the honorees:

ALL MASL 3 FIRST TEAM

 

>> ABOUBAKR DIALLO, OKC Certified Lions – Diallo was a key contributor for the first-year Lions, who won the Heartland Division, scoring 25 goals, but showing a strong playmaking sense as well with 17 assists. Twice he had five goals games on the season, including March 2 against Springfield when he also had an assist. He also had a five-goal night on Feb. 1 against the Kansas City Barilleros, who OKC just beat out fo the division title.

>> WESLEY CARSON, Wichita Selection – The Selection went just 3-7, but Carson was spectacular almost every night. He had hat tricks in four different games, and also had a five-goal effort Jan. 18 against OKC.

>> JAMESON RAILEY, Roc City Boom – The Boom had the most explosive offense in MASL 3, scoring a league leading 177 goals, 54 more than the second highest scoring team in the league, and Railey was often in the middle of it all In just eight games, he amassed  26 goals and 11 assists in just eight starts.  His biggest game came Feb. 11 against the Sahara Gunners as he had six goals and five assists. He also had a five-goal game Jan. 18 against the Youngstown Nighthawks. His 26 goals were tied for fourth best in the league, as was his 4.6 points per game average.

>> OLEKSANDER KOLOS, Houston Bolt – Kolos dressed in just eight games this year, including four for Austin earlier in the season before coming over to Houston for his final four games, and managed to score 29 goals, second best in the league. In five of his eight starts, he scored at least four goals, and twice had five-goal games, Feb. 15 for Houston against Austin and Dec. 14 for Austin against Central Texas.

>> JACOB POROSKI, Valhalla FC – The league leader in assists with 20, he also had 20 goals on the season, good for third place in the total points race in 2024-25. He had a seven-point game on a goal and six assists against Brew City on March 2, and also six goals and three assists on Dec. 29 against Summit City.

>> GK JAKEB MITCHELL, Roc City Boom – Mitchell played the vast majority of minutes in goal for Rochester, who as a team gave up the third fewest goals in the league. On three different occasion, when he played at least a full half, he gave up just one goal during his time in net. He was a First Team All MASL 2 selection last year for the Rochester Lancers, who advanced all the way to the league finals.

ALL MASL 3 SECOND TEAM

 

>> DOUGLASS TSHIBUYI, Sahara Gunners – Tshibuyi is a local Buffalo product, having played high school soccer at Lafayette and college soccer at Buffalo State. He led the league in points with 39 goals and had eight assists. He finished the season with three consecutive four-goal games.

>> TIMOTHY DUGAN, Philadelphia Spartans – Had a fine season for the Spartans, who lost out in the Atlantic Division playoffs in double overtime to the Baltimore Kings. Dugan  who had 19 goals in 11 games last year had 23 this year in just eight games. He also had 11 assists. On three different occasions this year he had four-goal games, and had an eight-point game on March 15 against the division winners, NOVA FC. 

>> EDUARDO FIGUEROA, Roc City Boom – The Boom are the only team in MASL 3 to finished a perfect regular season, and Figueroa was a big part of that, scoring 27 goals and adding 11 assists in nine games. His biggest effort came in late January with six goals and three assists against the Sahara Gunners. 

>> TONY ARAVIAKIS, Baltimore Kings – Araviakis pulled plenty of double duty this season, playing for both the Kings and the MASL 2 Salisbury Steaks, where he scored 16 goals. For the Kings,  he played in just five games, but still was tied for second best points per game average in the league with 14 goals and nine assists, including a five-goal, two-assist game against defending champion NOVA FC in November. 

>> AHMED SHETA, Northern Virginia – Sheta has been a mainstay on the three-time defending league champions, regularly leading the offense which scored 122 goals this year, third best in the league.  

>> GK ABELARDO SALVADOR, RGV – Salvador was the winning goalkeeper in some of RGV's biggest games this year, including the division clincher on the final weekend of the regular season when RGV leap-frogged Houston in the final division standings with a 6-2 win. He also was the winning GK in a 12-0 win over another tough team in the Austin Emerald in mid season.
