Prior to college Josiah played youth soccer for Flower City FC, and then Empire United where he won the state cup, scoring 20 goals. Josiah also played for New York State West Youth Soccer Association ODP for 4 years, captaining the team and leading them in assists, while making it to the regional semi final.

Josiah also played for the Empire United Soccer Academy, scoring 6 goals and 3 assists.

Josiah spent his High School days playing varsity soccer at The Aquinas Institute of Rochester his Freshman, Sophomore, and Senior year. He Lead the team in scoring his Sophomore and Senior years and was team MVP his Senior year with 17 goals and 6 assists, while earning 2nd team AGR and being selected to the Senior all star game.
