Roc City Players at College: Report

Published Oct 31, 2021

Many of our players shined this fall for their respective colleges, and did our organization proud. As the college season winds down, we take a look at our Boom players on college rosters.

The Domm brothers enjoyed a record breaking season at Finger Lakes Community. Chuck Domm broke the FLCC school record for goals scored (29) and total points in a season (69). Domm also led the nation and the NJCAA in regular-season scoring with his 29 goals in 16 games and was named MSAC Player of the Year.

"Chuck is incredibly dedicated to the sport of soccer and his body. He eats right, trains hard and is a student of the game. Chuck is focused on his position on the field. He has the ability to score in the air and on the ground. There is nowhere he can't score in the 18. He knows how to put the ball away and is the same player all 90 minutes. He's like a machine," Mike Domm said.

Russell Domm etched his name in the FLCC record books, tying the Lakers school record for assists in a season with 16. Russell Domm also led the nation in regular-season assists while adding nine goals with two game-winning tallies. He scored 34 points during the regular season.

"Russell is one of the most talented players I've coached in the past 20 years. He is incredibly strong, fast and has the best shot I've ever seen. His shot is dangerous and fast moving, and he his incredible vision and ability to put the ball where it needs to be makes him a true playmaker and unselfish player," according to Mike Domm.
